Patricia Watters Certified Massage Therapist (CMT), Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist (L.Ac.)
Patricia has been studying healing arts for over 10 years. Her interest is in providing enjoyable, healing treatments while also empowering patients to take better care of themselves. She uses acupuncture, massage therapy as well as herbal medicine and dietary and lifestyle counseling.
Patricia earned her bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Florida and focused on biological aspects. At this time she became interested in different healthcare practices around the world as well as the incidence of disease.
Patricia has been providing massage therapy and bodywork since 1998. She studied at the Florida School of Massage and earned a certificate in massage and hydrotherapy. She has studied a wide range of modalities including sports massage, Thai massage, neuromuscular reprogramming and craniosacral therapy. She earned her master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and further studied at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China. While studying, Patricia earned clinic experience at the ACTCM community clinic as well as the ACTCM Auricular clinic and Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic.
Patricia is a California licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist as well as a diplomat of Oriental medicine recognized by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
